The Black Widow’s Scarlett Johansson Doesn’t Care About The Disney Feud Anymore

The actress says she holds no grudge against the company.

Disney released Scarlett Johansson’s solo Marvel film, ‘Black Widow,’ on Disney+ at the same time as its theatrical release in 2021. The decision led to a lawsuit from Johansson, who was also a producer on the project, because it breached their previous agreement on profits.

The company eventually settled with the lead actress, and now, she’s open to working with them again. Johansson recently told The New York Times:

“I don’t hold a grudge. I think it was just poor judgment and poor leadership at that time. It just felt very unprofessional to me, the entire ordeal. And honestly, I was incredibly disappointed, especially because I was holding out hope until, finally, my team was like, ‘You have to act.’”

Black Widow And Other Heroes May Return To The MCU

‘Black Widow’ came out as a sequel to ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and followed Natasha Romanoff’s death in 2019’s ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ Johansson seemingly said goodbye to her Marvel role, but rumors say she’s one of the heroes that will appear in the upcoming ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’

There’s also talk that Robert Downey Jr. will return as Iron Man and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch for the future MCU productions, though nothing is confirmed.

If reports from Marvel Updates are true, the ‘Agatha All Along’ miniseries may set the stage for Olsen’s comeback as Wanda Maximoff after her death at the end of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’ The show will air on Disney+ this September.
