The First Trailer For Katherine Heigl’s ‘Firefly Lane’ Is Unveiled By Netflix

An official trailer for the highly-expected TV series, ‘Firefly Lane’ has arrived.

As known, the lead actor of the series, Katherine Heigl teased the official poster the other day, through her verified Instagram account. Alongside the poster with the slogan “Three decades. Two friends. One hell of a story.” she announced that the film, based on Kristin Hannah’s New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, will premiere on February 3 through the streaming giant.

“Clear your calendars friends and prepare to binge. We have a date!

It was not long after this news, Netflix released the trailer through its YouTube channel. According to the trailer, the TV series center on two best friends and their decades-spanning friendship. Even though including a brief glimpse at the show, the trailer has been enough to warm the audience.

The official synopsis released along with the trailer  is as follows:

“Tully and Kate meet as young girls on Firefly Lane and become inseparable best friends through 30 years of ups and downs. Starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke and based on the bestselling novel by Kristin Hannah, Firefly Lane is coming soon to Netflix.”

Alongside Hollywood actors Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke, who best known for her role in the legendary sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ the cast also includes Beau Garrett, Roan Curtis, Ben Lawson, Ali Scovbye, Yael Yurman, John Michael-Ecker and Paul McGillion.

As fans might remember, the TV series, developed by Maggie Friedman first announced in February 2019. Filming for the series started on September 17, 2019 and ended in almost 10 months.
