‘The Big Bang Theory‘s ‘Penny’ and ‘Saturday Night Live‘s ‘Resident Young Person’ combined the force for a new rom-com!
The news arrived when Kaley Cuoco – ‘Penny’ – took to her verified Instagram account and released the screenshot of the DEADLINE report titled “Kaley Cuoco & Pete Davidson In Talks To Star In Romantic Comedy Feature ‘Meet Cute’” on June 21.
Alongside the screenshot, Cuoco added a note and confirmed that the project is about to come to the life. The star, who has been garnering praises for her performance in the HBO Max series ‘The Flight Attendant,’ wrote the following message on Instagram:
“This one’s gonna be real ‘cute.’“

According to news exclusively obtained by the website, the upcoming rom-com will be directed by Alex Lehmann who is best known for ‘Paddleton’ and scripted by Noga Pnueli. To be produced by Akiva Goldsman, Santosh Govindaraju, Dan Reardon, Gregory Lessans, and Rachel Reznick, ‘Meet Cute’ will focus on “time travel.”
