Elle Fanning, who has received high praises for her role as ‘Catherine the Great‘ on Hulu’s ‘The Great,’ went to Instagram the other day to call out people to support the youth.
Fanning shared a photo of herself, holding a piece of paper that introduces The Validation Project, a youth empowerment program, and began her lengthy caption by mentioning how she first met Valerie Weisler, the founder/CEO of the said project:
“3 years ago I had the pleasure of celebrating Valerie Weisler at the Women of Worth gala. We became instant friends and kept in touch ever since. Val continuously inspires me through everything she does for the youth in her community.”
Stating Weisler is passionate and steadfast to her mission, Fanning provided further information regarding the global youth empowerment project which is celebrating its 8 year anniversary on January 16. Then the young artist heralded that the project offers a new fellowship program, and urged her fans and followers to support the project:
“Val is launching a fellowship program to grow The Validation Project’s current programs (like a virtual center for young people and a social justice film series) and launch new initiatives (like a paid internship program for college students)! Please join me in supporting Val’s mission to make the next 8 years as full of youth power as possible!!”
The abovementioned post received almost 150.000 likes from her followers and industry friends; a great number of Instagram users congratulated her for using her platform to make people take an action for social events.
