The release date of the upcoming supernatural horror film, ‘The Craft: Legacy’ has been determined: The highly expected film, written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones will be released in the United States through video on demand on October 28, 2020.
The exciting news was released through the official Instagram account for Sony Pictures. Alongside the official first trailer for the stand-alone sequel to ‘The Craft’ dated 1996, the following message was added:
“This Halloween, let the ritual begin.
Watch the trailer for @Blumhouse’s #TheCraft: Legacy, on demand in the US and Canada at the Witching Hour on October 28. @TheCraftMovie”
In the trailer, the girls are seen saying “We are the weirdos, mister” as in the original movie. And the legendary song, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ plays as background music.
‘The Craft: Legacy’ produced by Jason Blum, stars Cailee Spaeny (known for her role in ‘On the Basis of Sex,’) Gideon Adlon (‘The Society’), Lovie Simone (‘Greenleaf’), Zoey Luna (‘Pose’), Michelle Monaghan, and David Duchovny. The movie is centered on a group of four outcast teenage girls who pursue witchcraft.
As one’s remember the original movie, ‘The Craft’ starred Rachel True, Neve Campbell, Robin Tunney, and Fairuza Balk.
