According to sources close to Brie Larson, the actress recently embarked on a new chapter in her personal life following her split from Elijah Allan-Blitz.
As per People, these sources reveal that Larson is now in the early stages of a relationship with artist Benjamin Styer. She and Styer were seen together at a performance of Kate Berlant’s one-woman show at the Pasadena Playhouse. Eyewitnesses described their interaction as affectionate and indicated that they left the venue together:
“They met up with friends and hung out in a group. Brie looked happy. Her relationship with Benjamin is newish. They were affectionate and cute.”
Larson’s Previous Relationships
Larson was previously engaged to actor/musician Alex Greenwald for three years. Their relationship eventually came to an end, though details of their separation remain private.
Following this, Larson found love with virtual-reality director Elijah Allan-Blitz. The couple’s relationship became public in July 2019 when they were spotted kissing. However, in 2023, Larson confirmed her single status in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, saying:
“I don’t have a next job. I don’t have a home. I don’t have a partner. I don’t have a plan. I’m just completely open.”
After her breakup with Allan-Blitz, she openly shared her feelings about being single and her contemplation about the future, especially as she entered her 30s.
Who is Benjamin Styer?
According to his website, Benjamin Styer is a self-taught artist. He currently has a following of over 56,000 on Instagram and collaborations with brands like Kinstler in his portfolio. His artistic approach is influenced by Monet and Basquiat, and he also has a passion for music:
“As a child, I was drawn to the art in children’s books. Monet was a person I looked up to at age five. I soon aspired to paint hyper-real and couldn’t. In high school, I had a burst of painting for three years after discovering Basquiat. I’d also been making music for some time and, through the years, switched between songwriting and painting. When I was 27, I decided to devote my time completely to painting after starting a particular sketchbook.”
For now, Larson is busy with her upcoming project, ‘Avengers 5,‘ which will hit theaters on May 1, 2026. Her relationship with Styer isn’t confirmed yet.
