Best known for playing ‘Kevin Malone‘ in one of the most-loved comedy series, ‘The Office,’ actor Brian Baumgartner updated his Instagram feed with an adorable tribute to the person who has had “the greatest impact on changing television comedy over the last 30 years.”
On April 13, the actor, who recently appeared in the film ‘My Boyfriend’s Meds‘ posted a photo of his ‘The Office’ co-star Steve Carell and the casting director of the series, Allison Jones. In the caption section, Baumgartner asked his fans and followers who is that person he described and listed the possible answers:
“Question: What person has had the greatest impact on changing television comedy over the last 30 years? You could answer Greg Daniels, or Judd Apatow or Larry David…”
Following writing the names of notable filmmakers and writers, the 48-year-old actor revealed the “right answer” by saying:
“But there is a common thread between all of those people and if you answered her you could not be wrong- Allison Jones. Casting Director of The Office and so much more.”
At the end of his caption, Baumgartner thanked Jones for giving him a shot to portray the character which made him an internationally recognized actor.
As the actor stated in his message, Jones has a great contribution to comedy series on TV; the three-time Emmy-winning casting director worked for ‘Freaks and Geeks,’ ‘Undeclared,’ ‘The Office,’ ‘The Good Place,’ ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and more.
