It was announced that ‘Uncharted’ that is Sony’s adaptation of the video games of the same name would begin filming soon.
As might be remembered, the filming of the action-adventure movie that inspires from the fourth game in the series was shut down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, like the many other productions. After that, the filming was rescheduled to July 15, 2020, by Sony Pictures.
On July 15, the lead actor of the movie, Tom Holland, who is portraying a young ‘Nathan Drake’ posted a photo on his verified Instagram account, that read ‘Nate’ and announced that they had begun.
Holland wrote as a caption:
“Day one #uncharted”
Whereupon, a Sony representative stated that production has not yet started, they are undergoing preparations and hoping to start soon.
The movie ‘Uncharted’ that stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Taylor Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas is planned to be released on July 2021.
