‘Thor’ Actor Chris Hemsworth Picks The Sexiest Man Alive

Hemsworth has a recommendation for this year’s winner!

Former Sexiest Man Alive Chris Hemsworth shared his pick for this year’s title.

“Brian Tyree Henry. He’s one of the most handsome men in the world,” the actor told People in a recent interview. “I love him.”

Hemsworth attended the New York City premiere of ‘Transformers One’ with costars Brian Tyree Henry and Keegan-Michael Key. During the event, he shared he believes Henry should be the 2024 Sexiest Man Alive.

The actor’s only advice for the 2024 Sexiest Man Alive, who will be announced on November 12, is a simple “Congratulations!” When shown his 2014 cover, he jokingly asked, “What happened to me?”

In 2014, Hemsworth found it ‘pretty funny’ when he was named Sexiest Man Alive. His wife, Spanish model Elsa Pataky, who he married in 2010, thought the same.

“I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house,” he shared with at the time. “I can just say to her, ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.'”

Hemsworth, Henry, and Key voice characters in ‘Transformers One,’ playing Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee. The movie also features Scarlett Johansson, Jon Hamm, and Laurence Fishburne.

According to the official synopsis, the new ‘Transformers’ installment reveals “how the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers-in-arms to become sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.”

In July, Hemsworth, Henry, and Key, along with the director and producer of ‘Transformers,’ appeared at a Comic-Con panel. Hemsworth shared that before accepting the role, he asked his kids for advice, and they encouraged him to take it.
