Thunderbolts* Set Photos May Have Leaked An Unexpected Cameo

Could Hawkeye be making a surprise appearance in the film?

A new photo from the ‘Thunderbolts*’ set caused quite a stir among fans.

It’s not just because we get another peek at Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes It seems there might be a surprise appearance by Jeremy Renner in the movie. Bucky appears in a new look complete with a goatee and long hair, but another person in the photo is far more interesting. Next to Stan is a man in a white checkered shirt who looks a lot like Renner, aka Hawkeye.

There’s no official confirmation that Renner is part of the film, but the resemblance is uncanny. Fans on social media are already excited though. One wrote:

“What’s Hawkeye doing here?”

The person in the photo can be a stunt double as well. You can see the photo below and decide for yourself.

The Story is Kept Under Wraps

‘Thunderbolts*’ cast includes Wyatt Russell, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, and many more. The movie is being shot in Atlanta with some scenes also planned for Utah and New York. Filming began in February and is expected to wrap up in July.

‘Thunderbolts*’  is the latest big project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is set to hit theaters on May 2, 2025. It brings together a group of characters who aren’t exactly heroes but not complete villains either — like Yelena Belova, Taskmaster, Red Guardian, US Agent, Ghost, and of course, Bucky Barnes.

Some rumors suggest Bucky Barnes might not stick around for long in the movie as he’s not the team leader.
