Actor Timothée Chalamet, who gained further recognition for his role in ‘Call Me by Your Name,’ opened up about how he felt after the photos of himself kissing then-girlfriend Lily-Rose Depp were published, in the new issue of GQ magazine.
As fans remember, last summer, Chalamet, and his ex were photographed by paparazzi kissing on the deck of a boat, and these photos were evaluated as a planned event designed to attract the public’s attention to his upcoming film by certain magazine writers. Regarding the issue, ‘The King’ co-star said:
“I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life. I was on this boat all day with someone I really loved, and closing my eyes, I was like, indisputably, ‘That was great.’ And then waking up to all these pictures, and feeling embarrassed, and looking like a real nob? All pale?”
After describing the day spent with Lily-Rose Depp – daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis – as one of the best days of his entire life, reacted against the “P.R stunt” news by adding:
“And then people are like, This is a P.R. stunt. A P.R. stunt?! Do you think I’d want to look like that in front of all of you?!”
The 24-year-old actor and Depp first sparked romance rumors in 2018, after meeting during the filming of ‘The King,’ and the pair attended the Venice Film Festival together in September. Even they never commented on their relationship, the relationship became public when the couple were spotted kissing on a boat in Capri.
