Tom Ellis, best known for portraying ‘Lucifer Morningstar’ in the TV Show, ‘Lucifer’ criticized US President Donald Trump with an Instagram post.
Ellis, posted a photo of himself wearing a mask and a face shield as he worked on the series set, and said that the President also could have taken precautions not to spread the virus.
As known, President Donal Trump made an appearance without any safety precautions amid pandemic though he was under treatment for the coronavirus.
The 41-year-old actor wrote alongside his selfie:
“This is what we have to wear at #lucifer to get back to work as safely as possible during this very real pandemic….and we get tested every day….and we have to social distance…and, as many people like to remind me I’m only an actor…”
Ellis asked rhetorically both to fans and the President himself:
“Why would the president who’s in charge of everything not take the same if not more precautions?”
As already known, on October 2, Trump informed the world that he and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19. 2 days after this announcement Trump left the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and waved at supporters gathered outside the hospital. Then, he permanently left the hospital declaring that he was feeling good.
