Fans of the ‘Twilight’ saga got a surprise this weekend as key members of the Cullen family reunited for a nostalgic photo that quickly went viral. Posted by Kellan Lutz on Instagram, the photo proved that time flies.
The reunion took place at the Emerald City Comic Con, bringing together actors Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, and Jackson Rathbone, who portrayed the vampire family in the film series. First shared by Lutz, the photo features the quartet with their arms around each other and all smiles.
Lutz, known for his role as Emmett Cullen and currently starring in ‘FBI: Most Wanted,’ captioned the photo with a heartwarming ‘Got the fam together!’

This Wasn’t a Full Reunion
Taken in Seattle, Washington – a stone’s throw away from the Twilight series’ Forks setting – the photo received a flood of fan reactions. Peter Facinelli, who played the Cullen family patriarch, Carlisle, also shared the same photo on his own IG profile, expressing affection for his on-screen family:
“Will Love this fam forever. How bout you?”
While the reunion was warmly received, cast members who weren’t in the frame included Nikki Reed, who played Rosalie Hale. Reed, though not present, voiced her support and love for her former co-stars via a comment under Lutz’s post:
“I love this, and I love you guys!”
Other cast members such as Elizabeth Reaser, Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart were also missing from the event.
There Might Be a Future ‘Twilight’ Movie
Looking ahead, the ‘Twilight’ franchise may not be confined to the past. Back in 2016, Lionsgate expressed interest in expanding the universe through sequels or spinoffs, but it depends on author Stephenie Meyer’s approval. Moreover, a television series adaptation is currently in the early development stages.
Beyond the reunion, Kristen Stewart recently reflected on her life post-‘Twilight.’ Stewart, who played Bella Swan, opened up about the personal and mental challenges she faced during and after her time in the spotlight. You can read the details here.
Adapted from Stephenie Meyer’s novels, the ‘Twilight’ series spanned five films from 2008 to 2012 and grossed over $5 billion worldwide.
