Young star Tyler Posey, who recently launched his pop-punk genre song ‘Shut Up’ featuring Travis Barker, jumped into his social media accounts so as to mark a milestone; however, he did not have pictures for a “usual Instagram tribute!”
On June 5, Posey took to his Instagram account to announce that he is celebrating the 10th release anniversary of the MTV series, ‘Teen Wolf.’ The actor, who owes his fame to the role of ‘Scott McCall,’ first “stole some pic” from one of his friends and then released a message saying the series, starring Crystal Reed, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, Shelley Hennig, Arden Cho, Dylan Sprayberry, Linden Ashby, Melissa Ponzio, JR Bourne alongside him, changed his entire acting career for the better.
The 29-year-old star wrote the following message, alongside the photos that show him with his co-stars:
“I have no pics on my phone so had to steal from my friends. 10 years ago my life changed for the better and all you fans remind me every day of that and I love all of you and everyone helped make this show as badass as it was. Happy 10 f*cking years!”
In addition to his Instagram post, Posey marked the 10th anniversary of the pilot through an interview. Stating he can’t believe ten years have passed since the release date, the actor continued his words by expressing that ‘Teen Wolf’ will remain to be more special than other projects for him:
“I hadn’t been to the other sets, but I know ours was a family. I’ve been acting for 24 years now, and I’ve never seen anything like it. It was great that the show lasted for so long, and we got to build this bond with each other. But even that early on, it was a bond and we felt like we were creating art.”
As fans might remember, the fantasy series based on the 1985 film of the same name, has been released on June 5, 2011. After 100 episodes – 6 sessions on MTV – it came to an end back on September 24, 2017.
