Spanish actor Úrsula Corberó took to her verified Instagram account in order to break a piece of exciting news.
On May 15, Corberó, best known for appearing as ‘Tokyo‘ in the fan-favorite Netflix series, ‘La Casa De Papel,’ better known in English as ‘Money Heist,’ jumped into her verified Instagram account and heralded that the filming for the fifth season of the series has come to an end.
Corberó, who previously starred in well-known Spanish features including ‘Física o química,’ ‘Isabel,’ and ‘Cómo Sobrevivir a una Despedida’ released a couple of black and white photos with her co-stars, Álvaro Morte, Pedro Alonso, Alba Flores and Miguel Herrán, in order to deliver the news. Alongside the photos showing that the entire cast was like a family, the young star wrote:
“The end has come. What a journey. I’m gonna miss my fellas so hard.”
After expressing that saying goodbye to the series and her co-stars is quite hard, the 31-year-old concluded her message as follows:
“Thanks for all your love and support, I hope we made the final season you all deserve Jarana forever.”
As known, Netflix announced that ‘Money Heist’ season 5 will be the final season of the series, created by Álex Pina. Of course, the news saddened fans and the cast as well. Apart from ‘Tokyo,’ other stars of the series jumped into the comments section to say farewell.
Álvaro Morte, portraying ‘El Professor‘ in the series, released a photo of the cast and added a message that reads:
“What a team. A dream team!”
As for Pedro Alonso, who is playing ‘Berlin’ wrote on his verified Instagram account and shared the following note:
“I don’t feel this is the time to speak. Just thank you. To all of you. From the bottom of my heart. I know it was more than a dream.”
