The rights of the film co-directed by Meagan Good and Tamara Bass were acquired by Vertical Entertainment.
According to news obtained by DEADLINE, the said movie, titled ‘If Not Now, When?‘ starring Meagan Good, Tamara Bass, Meagan Holder, Mekia Cox, Niles Fitch, Lexi Underwood, Edwin Hodge, and Kyle Schmid will be released on January 8.
The well-known actor and model Meagan Good celebrated the news through her verified Instagram account. The ‘Shazam!‘ star uploaded a screenshot of the related essay published on DEADLINE and added a caption that reads:
“God is…✨

Meanwhile, co-producer Tamara Bass also took to Instagram to react to the news. Alongside the same image as Good shared, she wrote as a caption:

Gersh Film Finance Managers Peter Jarowey and Josh Spector negotiated with Vertical on behalf of Good and Bass. As for the co-president of Vertical, Rich Goldberg said in a statement regarding this collaboration:
“The film’s theme of the importance of genuine sisterhood brought to life by the incredible performances from the ensemble cast are sure to resonate with audiences long after watching. We are proud to partner with talented female filmmakers to bring this film to North American audiences early next year.”
