Actor Alexander Ludwig is now married to Lauren Dear.
Ludwig, best known for his roles in ‘Vikings,’ and ‘The Hunger Games,’ announced through his verified Instagram account that he was a married man; he posted a series of photos from his wedding with Dear, in Utah. The Canadian-based actor captioned the photos, in which he and his wife are seen exchanging vows in front of a great mountain view, as follows:
“My wife, my best friend, the future mother of my children, my everything. @laurendear”
Then Ludwig wrote that they had decided to elope because they did not want to spend another day without calling each other wife and husband. Referring to their low-key wedding ceremony that was held under the COVID-19 restrictions, the actor promised his friends and family members that they would set a proper celebration.
“It has been such a crazy year but it certainly put things into perspective. (…) but for now- the love of my life, our dog yam, a yurt on a mountain top in the middle of nowhere sounded like the perfect beginning.”
Following the post, Ludwig’s industry friends jumped into the comment section to send their congratulatory message to the newlywed couple.
“You guys look look just perfect together! ❤️❤️ Congratulations beautiful humans!” wrote, ‘Taken’ star, Clive Standen.
“Congrats my man” added, David Grutman.
“AH!! Congratulations 🍾🎊” commented, the ‘Bridge to Terabithia.’ actor AnnaSophia Robb.
As fans might remember, the couple announced their engagement back in November, through Instagram. At that time, Dear released a series of photos of herself showing her diamond ring, alongside her actor fiancee, and wrote the following message as a caption:
“This last year was filled with a lot of uncertainty and doubt but this was the easiest decision of my life. I think we all learned in some way or another to look inside ourselves and find what truly makes us happy. Thank you to 2020 for bringing this guy into my life.”
