The first African-American actress to achieve the ‘Triple Crown of Acting,’ actress took to Instagram in order to react to Kamala Harris, who is the Democratic vice presidential nominee for the 2020 election, and Mike Pence’s vice presidential debate.
During the debate that took place on Wednesday night, Mike Pence interrupted Harris several times; concerning this, the ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ actress posted a video that Harris saying “Mr. Vice President, I am speaking,” and praised her by writing the following caption:
“Behold the power, the unyielding power, compassion, empathy, vision, and ownership of that who is WOMAN and who is BLACK.”
After highlighted that Harris is the first Black and South Asian woman to get this title, Davis urged her fans and followers to vote intending move forward together:
“I am a WILD WOMAN. It would take a warrior to tame my spirit”. –Anonymous 👊🏿👊🏿Kamala baby👊🏿👊🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💛💛💛 We have to move forward together or not at all. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!”
