It’s been revealed that the upcoming science fiction action film ‘The Matrix 4’ has been delayed into 2022 because of coronavirus pandemic.
The release date of the fourth installment in ‘The Matrix’ franchise, directed by Lana Wachowski, was announced as May 21, 2021.
However, like many upcoming films, it has been delayed for the wellbeing of actors/actresses and set workers.
‘The Matrix 4’ that Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Lambert Wilson take part with their previous roles, has been scheduled to be released on April 1, 2022.
Besides, the production of the film, that was halted because of coronavirus pandemic on March 16, 2020, it has been replanned to continue on July 6, 2020.
Following ‘No Time To Die,’ ‘Fast And Furious 9,’ and ‘Black Widow’ have been delayed due to the same reason, the fans do not seem very surprised but of course, they upset because they cannot watch ‘Neo,’ ‘Trinity,’ ‘Niobe,’ ‘The Merovingian,’ sooner.
