Netflix’s highly-expected series, ‘Bridgerton‘ is coming to the platform with its second season; we are finally sure about this.
As known, the series, starring Adjoa Andoh, Lorraine Ashbourne, Jonathan Bailey, Ruby Barker, Sabrina Bartlett, Harriet Cains, Bessie Carter, Nicola Coughlan, Phoebe Dynevor and Ruth Gemmell, premiered on Netflix on December 25, 2020. After almost a year, it was officially announced that ‘Bridgerton’ was renewed for a second season; the great news was delivered by creator Chris Van Dusen. Meanwhile, Netflix confirmed the news via its official social media channels.
Following the fans of ‘Bridgerton’ had been cherished by the great news, the question that “when Netflix will release ‘Bridgerton’ season 2” came to sight, of course. According to the official announcement by the streaming giant, the filming for ‘Bridgerton’ season 2 started back in April in London.
The announcement was supported by the social media posts which were shared by the stars of the series. What’s more, Simone Ashley, who is gearing up to portray ‘Kate Sharma‘ in the series’ second season, was spotted on the set for the first time in April.
Even though there is no official declaration what is the release date for the series, which has become the most-watched series on the platform, it seems that it will hit Netflix at the end of 2021, or early 2022.
Who Are Returning For Season 2?: What We Know About ‘Rege-Jean Page’
As loyal fans already know, it was officially announced that Jonathan Bailey, who is playing one of the main characters ‘Anthony Bridgerton,’ Phoebe Dynevor, Adjoa Andoh, Golda Rosheuvel, Ruth Gemmell and Julie Andrews is returning for the second season. However, the Duke of Hastings, ‘Rege-Jean Page‘ will not be coming back for the next season of the series based on the book series by Julia Quinn.
Even though this update may break the hearts of fans, we have a piece of good news:
