What’s Release Date Of ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 17?

The most-watched reality television dating game show, ‘The Bachelorette‘ is coming out with its season 17 very soon; it is official!

As known, the TV show’s 16th season came to an end back on December 22, 2020, and it was declared that it had been renewed for the 17th season; the exciting news has been delivered through the official Instagram page for The Bachelorette ABC, back on April 7.

According to the updates by ABC, the new season has been set to premiere on June 7 at 8 p.m. So, we need to wait a little bit longer to witness the love on the air. What’s more, we know that now ‘The Bachelorette’ season 17 is in preproduction in Albuquerque. Because of the COVID-19 restrictions in Canada, the set was relocated to the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico.

Who is the new Bachelorette 2021?

ABC officially announced that the new Bachelorette is a bank marketing manager Katie Thurston!

Actually, the audiences know the 30-year-old contestant who is from Lynnwood, Washington; she was introduced during the ‘After the Final Rose’ special back on March 15. Also, she appeared in the 25th season of ‘The Bachelor’ as a contestant.

Chris Harrison will not be hosting in season 17

‘The Bachelorette’ season 17 will not be hosted by Chris Harrison because of his racially insensitive comments. The news was delivered by Warner Horizon and ABC Entertainment with a press statement sent through official social media accounts.

On March 12, the following statement was released:

“Chris Harrison will not be hosting the next season of The Bachelorette. As we continue the dialogue around achieving greater equity and inclusion within The Bachelor franchise, we are dedicated to improving the BIPOC representation of our crew, including among the executive producer ranks.”

Instead of Harrison, former contestants Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will host the show in the new season.
