It was officially declared that one of the most-watched adult animated sitcoms, ‘Rick And Morty‘ is returning to its streaming platform with its fifth season quite soon.
According to the latest updates provided by Adult Swim, the fifth season of the animated series starring Justin Roiland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, Dan Harmon, and Kari Wahlgren, is coming out on June 20, 2021. What’s more, it was also declared that the new season will consist of 10 episodes.
As fans might know, the fifth season was originally ordered by Adult Swim in 2018, following the success held with the third season. At that time, the cable network renewed the series on the basis of episodes, as a part of a long-term deal; according to the order, there would be 70 additional episodes. Regarding the ‘Rick and Morty’ season 5, writer Scott Marder declared that “there’s epic canon in season five coming” warmed up the fans of the series.
What’s more, the series, whose fifth season was confirmed back in July 2020, has a trailer now.
Is ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 5 on Netflix?
