One of the most waited series of Netflix world, ‘You,’ as known, was renewed for season 3 back in January by Netflix; a few months later, it was announced officially that the filming for the next season started in early November. At that time, Netflix delivered exciting news for the fans of the series by posting a photo of Penn Badgley with a coronavirus mask bearing “You Hello.” Alongside the photo, the following message was released:
“We recommend you stay at least 6 feet from Joe Goldberg at all times. You Season 3 is back in production.”
Then, stars of the series, developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble started sharing set shots through their social media accounts and they warmed up the audiences for season 3 via their posts. In early April, showrunner Sera Gamble released the front page of the episode 10 script of ‘You’ through her verified Instagram and wrote a message in short: “Getting Closer.”
It is also announced that in the third season of ‘You’ a new character will say hello to the audience. All we know about the new cast member, named Dante, are here:
“A veteran whose sight was damaged in combat, Dante works at the local library. A step-father to his partner Ted’s two boys, Dante is sarcastic, world-weary, and unfailingly dependable. We are looking for an Actor who is visually impaired – this includes low vision (degenerating vision), legally or totally blind.”
While the cast and crew giving clues regarding the release date of the series, starring Victoria Pedretti, Jenna Ortega, James Scully, Ambyr Childers, Carmela Zumbado alongside Badgley, a piece of great news has arrived. According to the latest update, the filming for the series, whose second season was viewed by almost 60 million people worldwide, came to an end on April 23.
Even though there is no exact date for the release, it was predicted that the new season will hit the streaming platform between September to December 2021.
