The Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams-created Netflix series, first released back on July 21 through Netflix, the first ten episodes garnered high praises from both critics and the audiences, so the streaming giant announced that they had renewed the series for a second season. The other ten episodes opened on Netflix back on August 31, 2018.
After two years, the ‘Ozark’ season 3 arrived on March 27, 2020; and of course, the question came out: When will the fourth season air?
The series, starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Jordana Spiro, Jason Butler Harner, Esai Morales, Peter Mullan, and Lisa Emery actually had been ordered for the fourth installment. As fans might remember, both producers and the streaming platform announced the great news back in June 2020!
What’s the release date of ‘Ozark’ season 4?
A few months after the good news was announced, filming for ‘Ozark’ season 4 started in November 2020. However, like many other Netflix productions, this one also was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though the exact date was not declared, we know that the production started again after the delay.
Unfortunately, the streaming giant hasn’t announced an official release date yet, still, it is expected that the next season for the series will air in 2022’s first quarter. We need to wait a little bit longer for an official announcement regarding the release date.
