Will there be a season 2 of ‘Made for Love’?
Even though there is no official announcement by the streamer, just after the finale, showrunner Christina Lee gave a green light to the ‘Made for Love’ season 2 by saying during a DEADLINE interview:
“I think that there are some questions, particularly with Byron on how he is the way he is. People were asking: Why doesn’t he know who Willy Wonka is? Like, who is this guy? Is the Greg Benson thing real? And I will say that is something that we want to address in season 2, among everything else, but that’s one of the things for sure.”
In another interview with Collider, Lee added the followings when she was asked about the second season:
“We love working on this show so much, both creatively and with our cast and crew, which we’ve just all fallen in love with over this last year. So certainly a hope for Season 2 was in our minds when we wrote that ending.”
When we consider that the finale episode left things open for another season, it will not be surprising if the renewal announcement comes. Stay tuned to learn more about the series’ second season & release date.
