Will There Be A ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ Season 2? Release Date, Cast And More

The highly-expected series ‘Fate: The Winx Saga‘ debuted January 22 on Netflix with its first season consisting of 6 episodes. The new fans of the fairy fantasy show, who watched the first season at once, have already started to ask about the second season. It’s quite fair when the ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ season finale full of unanswered questions considered.

In February 21, a piece of good news arrived concerning the series starring Abigail Cowen, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Precious Mustapha, Eliot Salt, Elisha Applebaum, Danny Griffin, and Sadie Soverall; the streaming giant announced that the series had been renewed for a second season. Regarding ‘Fate: The Winx Saga season 2’  the showrunner Brian Young stated on the Netflix Facebook:

“The six episodes in Season 1 only scratched the surface of this incredibly rich world and the powerful fairies who inhabit it. As Bloom’s story continues to evolve, I can’t wait for you to learn even more about Aisha, Stella, Terra and Musa. And you never know who might show up at Alfea next term.”

However, the curious fans had to wait a while for the above-mentioned announcement because the series based on ‘Winx Club‘ by Iginio Straffi received mixed reviews. According to certain movie & series critics, Netflix just wanted to clarify the story by renewing the series for a second season.

According to the updates provided by showrunners, filming for ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ season 2 will start in 2021 in Ireland. In case the production ends by the end of fall, we can watch season 2 somewhere between next January and Match.

Where can I watch season 2 of ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’?

As we mentioned above, ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ season 2 will be released through Netflix, like its first season. It is expected that the second season of the series which follows the super-popular animated series ‘Winx Club,’ will receive more favorable reviews from audiences plus critics.

Stay tuned for further details regarding the release date and cast.
