Netflix has a piece of good news regarding the highly-expected comedy film ‘Yes Day.’
The streaming giant unveiled the first look at the film, starring Jennifer Garner And Édgar Ramírez, and announced that it would head to the platform on March 12. Through the official Instagram account for Netflix Film, the following message was released to deliver the exciting news:
“Jennifer Garner and Edgar Ramirez are a couple who can’t say no in YES DAY—where for 24 hours, the kids make the rules and the parents have no choice but to go with the adventurous flow.”
Meanwhile, the stars of the film also took to their social media account to celebrate the news. One of these names, Jennifer Garner, who will appear as ‘Allison Torres‘ in the film, wrote on Instagram, alongside the first photo unveiled:
“Have you ever dreamed of going through the car wash…with your windows down? 😬🥶🙅🏻♀️👵🏻 Give your kids a #YesDay and you just might find out! 😂”
Starring also Jenna Ortega (as ‘Katie Torres’), Julian Lerner (as ‘Nando Torres’), and Everly Carganilla, the film was directed by Miguel Arteta, best known for the films ‘The Good Girl’ and ‘Cedar Rapids.’
As fans might remember, the film, based on the book of the same name by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, was first announced in 2018; the same year it was declared that Garner had joined the cast. After a year, Jenna Ortega, Édgar Ramírez, and Julian Lerner were announced as stars for the film, and its shooting began in November 2019.
