The ‘High School Musical’ alum Zac Efron delivered a piece of exciting updates regarding the remake of Stephen King’s ‘Firestarter’!
On July 17, Efron took to his verified Instagram account and shared a two-photo gallery showing him alongside his co-star Ryan Kiera Armstrong, who is portraying his daughter in the film,’ and announced that the filming for the new version of the well-known horror movie ended.
Alongside the photo showing the two hugging, Efron, who has been under media coverage for a while due to his cosmetic procedures changing his appearance totally, wrote the following message as a caption:
“That’s a wrap on Firestarter movie! I can not wait for you guys to see this.”
As fans might remember, the news regarding the reboot of the 1984dated film based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King was first announced back in 2017. After three years, Efron was cast for the role of ‘Andy McGee,’ and the production started back on May 25, 2021.
The film directed by Keith Thomas and starring Michael Greyeyes (as ‘Rainbird’), Ryan Kiera Armstrong (as ‘Charlie McGee’), Gloria Reuben and Sydney Lemmon (as ‘Vicky McGee’) is expected to be released in 2022.
