Zack Snyder shared some details about ‘Justice League’ on a recent episode of the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast.
Jesse Eisenberg played Lex Luthor in Snyder’s films, but it seems Snyder once thought about casting Leonardo DiCaprio in the role. The two had a chat, and DiCaprio didn’t just talk about playing Lex Luthor — he also gave Snyder a cool idea:
“He had a lot of great ideas actually, just in the meeting. I think in the end, he was like ‘Eh, I don’t know.’ But he was really smart about the material and really smart about the character. He was the one that mentioned to me the idea about Superman fighting the Justice League at some point. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cool.’ He is a [comic guy]. I was like, ‘I’m going to put that over there.'”
Snyder loved the idea so much that he included this twist in his ‘Justice League.’
