Zack Snyder recently shared his thoughts on James Gunn’s new Superman suit.
Snyder, who was speaking to The Hollywood Handle about his ‘Rebel Moon’ and ‘Army of the Dead,’ couldn’t avoid questions about Superman. He said he wants to see the new suit in action before making a final judgment:
“Let’s see it in the movie. I’m interested to see how it works as a piece of storytelling. Yeah. But I am excited. I’m excited to see it.”
This isn’t the first time Snyder was asked about Gunn’s plans for DC. In an interview with CBR, he said he is as excited as everyone else to see what Gunn is doing:
“I’m a pretty open book. If the characters are treated with reverence and mythologically correct, then I’m down. I’m in. Let’s see what happens. I’m pretty excited… I mean, we’re going to get Superman pretty soon, so we’ll see what that’s like.”
Snyder’s B&W ‘Justice League’ Is Coming To Theaters
‘Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition’ is coming to theaters soon. Here’s how Snyder described the project:
“I’d like to shoot a black-and-white movie at some point. We’re finishing right now the black-and-white version of Justice League, and it’s called the Justice Is Gray Edition. That’s what I call it. ‘Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition.’ It’s not black-and-white as they say (laughs). But that’s the name of the black-and-white version.”
Snyder also talked about how this version of Justice League is special to him. He told The Film Junkee:
“My ideal version of the movie is the black-and-white IMAX version of the movie. That, to me, is the most fan-centric, most pure, most Justice League experience.”
Snyder lived with the movie in black-and-white for two years and sees it as the best way to experience the story.
James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ is slated to be released in 2025. Snyder’s ‘Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition’ is in theaters soon.
