The youngest winner of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Zendaya announced the good news through Instagram: Highly beloved teen drama television series, ‘Euphoria’ in which the actress portrays the title role, was set to release on December 6 by HBO with two new episodes.
Zendaya, who portrays a teen addict ‘Rue Bennett‘ in the said series, uploaded a photo from the series, created by Sam Levinson, and added a caption that reads:
“We really missed them. Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon. First one December 6th on @hbo”
Following the post, the official Instagram account for HBO, commented as follows:
“Refusing to blink until December 6.”
These two special episodes will serve as a bridge to the gap between season 1 and season 2. As known, ‘Euphoria‘ that received positive reviews from critics, was delayed for season 2 due to the coronavirus pandemic. According to HBO, the two episodes were filmed under the novel coronavirus guidelines.
In the first bonus episode entitled ‘Trouble Don’t Last Always,’ ‘Bennet’ celebrates Christmas. The release date for the second episode yet has been announced.
