In a recent interview with Fandango, Zendaya expressed her eagerness to continue in the Dune universe, revealing her readiness to be part of ‘Dune: Part Three.’
With the highly anticipated release of ‘Dune: Part Two’ just around the corner, Zendaya, who plays the character Chani, is already setting her sights on the next chapter of the saga:
“Would we be down? I mean, of course. Any time Denis [Villeneuve] calls, it’s a yes from me. I’m excited to see what happens. I started ‘Messiah,’ and I was like, ‘Woah, I’m only shooting the first movie. Let me just go back to the first one.’ It’s so much to take in, but there are no better hands with better care and love for it than Denis.”
Zendaya’s portrayal of Chani in the first film received praise. Critics like Glenn Kenny and Brian Lowry commented on her performance, with Kenny describing it as ‘better than apt’ despite the limited screen time her character had in the protagonist’s visions.
