5 Little-Known Facts About Everwood’s Gregory Smith’s Life And Career

Best known for his role as Ephram Brown in The WB’s ‘Everwood,’ Gregory Smith appeared in various TV shows and films throughout the years. Still, despite being a familiar face in ‘Rookie Blue,’ ‘A Wrinkle In Time,’ and ‘Boot Camp,’ his life and career remained mostly out of sight. 

Attracting attention with his part as the son of a doctor named Andy Brown (Treat Williams) in 2002’s ‘Everwood,’ Gregory Smith took his chance in different genres as well. From a teenager in the psychological thriller ‘Boot Camp’ to a sadistic psychopath in 2011’s black comedy ‘Hobo With A Gun,’ Gregory received generally good reviews throughout his acting career.

Gregory grew up in a family connected to the entertainment industry. His brother, Douglas Smith, is also an actor, who started his career with a role in ‘The X-Files’ in 1996 and rose to fame with his performance in ‘Big Love’ from 2006 to 2011. His career also includes appearances in ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,’ ‘Terminator Genisys,’ ‘Vinyl,’ and ‘Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters.’

Gregory married model/actress Taylor McKay in 2018 with a wedding at the Lookout Cabin in Park City, Utah. The couple had been dating for nearly seven years when they tied the knot. They welcomed their first child, a son named Harry Edward, in 2021 and their daughter, Primrose Elizabeth, in 2022.
