Tom Hopper Joins ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ Cast

In the series, he will portray Raife Hastings, a character with a strong military background.

As reported by Variety, British actor Tom Hopper has officially joined the cast of Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming series, ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.’

In ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf,’ Hopper will step into the role of Raife Hastings, a character described as a hunter, protector, guardian, and Navy SEAL. This new series serves as a prequel to ‘The Terminal List’ and is set to delve into the backstory of Taylor Kitsch’s character, Ben Edwards, as he transitions from a Navy SEAL to a CIA paramilitary operator.

Alongside Hopper and Kitsch, the series will feature Chris Pratt reprising his role as James Reece and Jared Shaw as Ernest ‘Boozer’ Vickers, continuing their characters from the first season. Following his performances in ‘Black Sails,’ ‘Game of Thrones, and ‘Merlin,’ this role will be another addition to Hopper’s portfolio.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf‘ is co-created by Jack Carr, the author behind the original series, and David DiGilio, who is also responsible for developing the television adaptation. DiGilio continues his role as the showrunner for this prequel.

When Will ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ Be Released?

With its origins in the book series by Jack Carr, ‘The Terminal List’ debuted on Amazon Prime Video in 2022. Although the series received mixed reviews, it was renewed for a second season in February 2023. The announcement of ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ came simultaneously.

Production of ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ is scheduled to begin early this year. The series is produced as a collaboration between Amazon Studios and MRC Television/Civic Center Media. It features a team of executive producers, including Taylor Kitsch, Chris Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, Kat Samick, Jack Carr, David DiGilio, Max Adams, Jared Shaw, and Frederick E.O. Toye, who will also direct the pilot.

As for Tom Hopper, his involvement in ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ comes amidst preparations for the fourth and final season of ‘The Umbrella Academy.’ In addition to his role in the Amazon series, Hopper is also set to star in upcoming projects ‘Space Cadet‘ and ‘Climber.
