If you’re wondering when you’ll see Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe again, you’re not alone.
While promoting the upcoming ‘Ghostbusters’ movie, Paul Rudd said he doesn’t know what’s next for Ant-Man:
“I have no idea. None whatsoever. You know, that’s always in their camp. And we’ll see if they have ideas that were to come about then, I guess we find out, but I don’t really know.”
The third ‘Ant-Man’ movie wanted to set up Kang as a new villain, but it didn’t hit the mark with fans. According to Rudd, it’s all up to the bosses at Marvel Studios to decide if and when Ant-Man will be back on the big screen.

You Can See Rudd in ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’
‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ hit the theaters on March 22, and Rudd plays a character named Gary Grooberson in the movie. The movie follows the Ghostbusters as they deal with a new threat that could cause a second Ice Age. Rudd told DigitalSpy that it was a thrill to work alongside the original Ghostbusters actors:
“It’s a thrill, obviously, but it’s a bit strange to just be in the room [with them]. It’s strange to have the suit on, all that stuff, and we feel like imposters anyway, but to look over and go, ‘There they are,’ and we can see them in suits. They’re the greatest. They were so sweet to us, and it was fun to hear their stories and talk about what it was like to film the original and then also see them see props and things in the firehouse for the first time. It was a cool thing to witness.”
As for Ant-Man’s future, fans have their own guesses on Reddit. Some think he might not make it out alive in the upcoming ‘Kang’s Dynasty’ movie. Others feel Ant-Man works best when he’s part of a team. And then there are those who think this uncertainty is just something all MCU actors go through.
‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ got mixed reviews but was a hit with many fans. Watch the trailer below.
