The Show Was Well-Received
Matt Shakman, Andrew Colville, Jen Roskind, and Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell executive produced ‘Monarch’ Season 1. Shakman avoided making definite comments about a second season before the show’s debut last year. He told TheDirect:
“We poured our heart and soul into this season. We love it. We’re so proud of it. We hope people love it. If I could knock on some wood, I would hate to talk about future seasons until people have a chance to watch this one. And hopefully, they love it.”
‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ wrapped up its 10-episode first season on January 12, 2024. The series currently holds an 87% approval rating from critics and audiences.
The Apple TV+ show features Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Wyatt Russell, and Kurt Russell in its main cast.
