Chris Pratt Teases His Possibility To Join James Gunn’s DCU

Pratt says that he might join Gunn’s new DCU, or continue with Marvel as the Star-Lord.

Chris Pratt hints that he can join James Gunn’s DC Universe.

In a recent interview with ComicBook, Pratt said he is open to appearing in both Marvel and DC movies. He even joked that it could be ‘100% both:’

“Well, it probably makes more sense that I would be Star-Lord again. But anything is possible, and especially with James over at DC. Maybe there’s something that would be right over there. Maybe both. How about both? Let’s do both. I think it’s 100% both.”

Last year’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ ended with a hint that Peter Quill/Star-Lord will return, but Pratt says he might as well join DCU.

Gunn Says They May Not Play Their ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Roles

Gunn previously hinted that some cast members from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ could move to the DCU. But he didn’t announce any specific roles for them:

“There are reasons I wouldn’t want either of those actors to play themselves in the DCU.”

One popular fan theory is that Pratt might play Booster Gold. Pratt said in a 2023 interview with Rolling Stone that it all depends on whether Gunn thinks he’s right for this role:

“If James thought I was right for it, then you know that would I would have to consider it.”

Pratt is voicing Garfield in the upcoming ‘The Garfield Movie.’ The movie also features Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, and Bowen Yang. You can watch the trailer for the film below.
