‘Jurassic World 4’ has cast Chris Pratt’s Marvel co-star Scarlett Johansson as the lead. Pratt talked about possibly reuniting with the Black Widow actress in the new installment during a recent chat with CBR:
“Hey, never say never. Maybe. Maybe I return. Maybe I don’t. You’ll just have to tune in to find out. I know I’ll be first in line, whether I’m in it or not.”
The Star-Lord actor also noted that he didn’t receive a call from Johansson about her new role yet but encouraged her to reach out if she needed.
New Film’s Possible Cast
The Hollywood Reporter and Puck confirmed Scarlett Johansson’s casting in March. The actress landed the role after Jennifer Lawrence reportedly turned it down to step away from big franchises.
The new installment may bring back old characters from previous films in the future despite being a light reboot. ‘Jurassic World’ was a remake of the ‘Jurassic Park’ trilogy but featured appearances from original cast members like Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum.
The Production Recently Started
The upcoming project will reportedly be called ‘Jurassic City,’ and Gareth Edwards will sit on the director’s chair for it. David Koepp is currently working on the script.
‘Jurassic World 4’ will come out on July 2, 2025, but Universal Studios already started working on the animatronics and visual effects.
