Selena Gomez Is Not Sure ‘Only Murders In The Building’ Will Continue After Season 4

The show is coming back for Season 4, but its fate beyond that is unclear.

Hulu renewed ‘Only Murders in the Building’ for a fourth season following the conclusion of Season 3 last year. Selena Gomez discussed the show’s future after Season 4’s release on a recent episode of Variety’s ‘Awards Circuit Podcast.’ She said:

“I honestly don’t know what the future holds. Every season, we put everything into the show as if it’s our last. I’m really happy with how it’s blossomed and am content right now. But again, who knows? Let’s see what happens.”

The mystery comedy-drama followed Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short as they solved murder cases in their New York City apartment building for a true-crime podcast. The actress also served as an executive producer for the series.

The Hulu Show’s Ongoing Success

‘Only Murders in the Building’ consistently received nominations for ‘Outstanding Comedy Series’ at the Emmys since it started in 2021. Selena Gomez is on track to become the most nominated Latina producer in this category if this goes on.

The actress said of the achievement:

“These little nuggets of information keep me going. They make me proud. I’ve always been proud of my last name, heritage, and culture, but I need to stop more and realize how great this is. If it’s true, I can’t wait to tell my dad.”

Season 4 waits for release on August 27. The new episodes will introduce newcomers Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, and Kumail Nanjiani.
