Chris Pratt Shares Exciting Update On Joining James Gunn’s DCU

The actor thinks there’s a chance for him to join the DCU.

MTTSH recently reported that Chris Pratt had discussions with James Gunn about an undisclosed role in the DC Universe. Although the studio hasn’t confirmed these rumors, the actor’s new comments to TMZ teased some truth to them.

“Well, there’s always a chance,” he said. “But of course, I wouldn’t be able to spoil it here on the sidewalk with you. I could, but I better not. Man, I just have to leave that to the fans and people like James to decide. I’m not exactly sure. I’m truly not sure.”

Pratt and Gunn collaborated before on Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ trilogy. Talks among fans suggested last year that the two would reunite for a new DC project soon.

The actor didn’t rule out the possibility back then. “If James thought I was right for it, then you know that I would have to consider it,” he told Rolling Stone about playing Booster Gold.

The studio cast someone else for Gold earlier this year, though. NexusPointNews revealed in July that Kumail Nanjiani would play the time-traveling hero in a self-titled series. The production and release date for the upcoming Chapter One: Gods and Monsters project are still unknown.
