‘Reacher’ Returns With A Spinoff Series

A spinoff of ‘Reacher’ is coming to Prime Video, with Maria Sten’s character Frances Neagley at the center.

Prime Video is expanding the world of ‘Reacher.’

A new spinoff series is reportedly in development, but Amazon hasn’t officially announced it yet. According to Variety, the spinoff will likely focus on Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten. Neagley was a key character in the first two seasons of ‘Reacher.’

The original Reacher series has been very successful on Prime Video. Season 1 premiered in February 2022 and was a big hit. Season 2, which debuted in December 2023, saw viewership increase by 50% compared to Season 1.

‘Reacher’ Season 3 is currently in development. This season will be based on the seventh book in the Jack Reacher series, ‘Persuader.’ Jack Reacher will go undercover to rescue an informant from a dangerous enemy from his past. Alan Ritchson said that he plans to continue as Reacher for as long as he can.

Maria Sten will also return as Neagley in Season 3, along with new cast members like Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, and Brian Tee.

There is speculation that an episode of Season 3 could introduce the spinoff series, but this wasn’t confirmed yet. Amazon hasn’t set a release date for Season 3, but fans can stream the first two seasons on Prime Video. Season 2 will also be available on 4K Blu-ray and DVD on September 17.
