Elizabeth Olsen Thinks Wanda Could Beat Thor In A Potential Fight

The actress believes her character is ‘more powerful’ than Chris Hemsworth’s.

Elizabeth Olsen recently appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ answering some questions about her role as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the MCU.

“I think I am,” she said when Kimmel asked who was more powerful between Wanda or Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. “I think theory has it that Wanda could beat him. Maybe, yeah. I don’t know. I’ve never played with the hammer, I don’t think, yet. But I don’t think yet. I don’t know if that’s happened.”

Wanda faced off Thor at least once in Marvel Comics. She used her chaos magic to throw the God of Thunder into space while he was fighting her and Havoc under Red Skull’s influence in ‘Uncanny Avengers.’

While the Scarlet Witch hasn’t fought the Asgardian God in the MCU, she went up against Doctor Strange in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’ As the film’s antagonist, she sacrificed herself in the end to destroy the Darkhold’s all copies across the Multiverse though a flash of red light among the ruins hinted that she might still be alive.

“I would bet to leave a window open,” Olsen said of her potential return in another project. “I had so much fun doing these movies. I would like to figure out how to cleverly be undead. We need to find the smartest writers to figure out how to make this all make sense. I’m open to ideas. I would like to [be alive].”

Currently, the actress is promoting her new movie, ‘His Three Daughters,’ which will be available on Netflix on September 20.
