First Look To ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Directors’ New Movie ’The Electric State’ With Millie Bobby Brown Revealed

Images from the film showed several Marvel actors joining Brown in the cast.

After ‘five years in the making,’ directors Joe and Anthony Russo have finally shared a first look at ‘The Electric State’ on Instagram.

New photos of the set and several scenes showed Millie Bobby Brown in the role of Michelle. The tags revealed Anthony Mackie as the voice of Herman the Robot. Other cast members featured in the post included Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, and Giancarlo Esposito.

Additional cast members not shown in the recent images included Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Billy Bob Thornton, Alan Tudyk, and Woody Harrelson.

The Russo brothers once again teamed up with ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’ screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely to adapt Simon Stålenhag’s graphic novel. The synopsis revealed the film’s setting as ‘a reimagined version of 1997.’

“With humans isolated in their VR helmets, and a continuing battle against a strange breed of monstrous drones in the wake of a technological meltdown, a teenage girl named Michelle and a robot travel the West Coast of the U.S. in search of the girl’s missing brother,” the plot details read.

‘The Electric State’ will hit theaters in March 2025.
