James Gunn Reacts To Horrifying AI-Made ‘Superman’ Trailer

A fake AI trailer for James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ movie is circulating online, and the director isn’t happy.

James Gunn recently responded to a fake AI-generated ‘Superman’ trailer that’s been making the rounds online.

The trailer attempted to show scenes from the movie, but it was heavily criticized for its poor quality and unconvincing visuals. Gunn reacted to it on social media with three vomiting emojis.

The AI trailer aired on French 2 news over the weekend and even managed to fool some people. It started with a clip from an interview about the ‘Superman’ documentary on Christopher Reeve, followed by awkward, unrealistic shots of David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. The trailer also used footage from Zack Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel,’ and the creator did not even bother to change Henry Cavill’s face to match Corenswet.

As for the real ‘Superman’ movie, Gunn promised that we won’t have to wait too long for the first official trailer. He didn’t give a specific date at New York Comic Con, but he said, “It won’t be too long, but it won’t be too soon.” Gunn is very excited about his cast. He’s saying that David Corenswet is the best action star he’s ever worked with and that Rachel Brosnahan will impress everyone as Lois Lane.

‘Superman’ movie features Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Isabel Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho. Sara Sampaio plays Lex Luthor’s assistant and love interest, Eve Teschmacher. Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell will play Superman’s adoptive parents, Ma and Pa Kent. Milly Alcock has been confirmed to appear as Supergirl ahead of her own movie, ‘Woman of Tomorrow.’

Filming for Gunn’s ‘Superman’ has already wrapped up. He shared on social media earlier this year, “God bless our cast and crew whose commitment, creativity, and hard work have brought this project to life.”
