Aaron Taylor-Johnson refused to confirm or deny the news about his casting as James Bond so far. But the Associated Press pressed him for answers once again at the ‘The Fall Guy’ red carpet event.
The outlet asked the actor if he was getting tired of being asked about the Bond rumors. He jokingly replied:
“You sick of asking the question?”
The interviewer said:
“I want to know. So, no.”
So, Taylor-Johnson cut the chat short and walked away with a:
“Alright, have a good one.”
Rumors About The British Spy’s New Face
Aaron Taylor-Johnson currently has three other films called ‘The Fall Guy,’ ‘Nosferatu,’ and ‘Kraven the Hunter’ waiting for release in 2024. He chose to talk about them instead of the alleged James Bond role in a new issue of Rolling Stone:
“I can only really talk about the other things I’m going to show and tell.”
Meanwhile, EON Productions didn’t mention any plans for a new Bond film in the near future. The company also didn’t confirm any of the casting news for the part although The Sun claimed in March that the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ actor received offers.
Former 007 actor George Lazenby said it was normal for the studio to hold back information because the casting process took a while with many tests and auditions.
