‘Dune: Part Two’ director Denis Villeneuve has something to say about the new ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ popcorn bucket.
Villeneuve joked that Deadpool is jealous of the Dune popcorn bucket. He said this after seeing the Wolverine bucket that Marvel Studios released for their new movie:
“They are jealous of our bucket and they are doing their best to try and bring something horrific into the world. But, the ‘Dune’ bucket is unmatchable. I’m not saying I don’t like the bucket. I’m just saying it was difficult to beat the ‘Dune’ bucket. It was like one of a kind.”
Villeneuve added that he is still proud of the ‘Dune: Part Two’ bucket. He thinks it’s hard to beat the popularity of the Dune bucket from last year, as it became an instant hit on social media. He also humorously questioned if the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ sequel could be as good as the first movie.

Elizabeth Frank, the Chief Content Officer of AMC Theatres, said that the success of the ‘Dune’ bucket made them rethink their food and drink offerings. She added that they never expected the ‘Dune’ bucket to be so popular or to be joked about so much.
There were rumors about an NSFW popcorn bucket for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ but it seems they weren’t true.
