Henry Cavill talks about the possibility of playing James Bond, and it seems he’s not so sure now.
Cavill shared his thoughts during an interview on The Rich Eisen Show while promoting his new movie with Guy Ritchie, ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.’
Cavill said that he doesn’t know if he will get to play Bond because there are rumors that Aaron Taylor-Johnson might take over:
“I have no idea. All I’ve got to go off is the rumors. The same information you have. Maybe I’m too old now, maybe I’m not. It’s up to Barbara Broccoli and Mike Wilson and we’ll see what their plans are.”
Daniel Craig was the last actor to play Bond in ‘No Time To Die’ in 2021. Cavill’s role in ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ helped inspire the James Bond character.

Cavill Is 40 Years Old
Cavill almost got the James Bond role when he was 22. The directors thought he was too young at that time. Some think he might be too old now because actors who play Bond usually do it for several movies over many years.
Cavill recently starred in ‘Argylle’ and played a spy. It did not do well, so this might hurt his chances of being the next 007. He is open to the idea if it comes his way, though.
