Jessie T. Usher Confirms Comeback In ‘The Boys’ Season 5

Production on the upcoming season started on November 25.

After Jessie T. Usher’s A-Train secretly helped ‘The Boys’ by working as a mole inside Vought, he left The Seven, getting rid of his tracking chip. Vought’s in-universe account later explained his absence as an ‘undercover mission.’

This led many people to believe the actor might not appear in Season 5, but Usher recently shared a photo on Instagram from a cast dinner, confirming his return.

Accompanying the image, the actor wrote in his Instagram Stories, “One thing about my ‘The Boys’ fam… We gon eat, before we get cooking. Our bellies are full. Hearts are, too. Here comes S5.”

A-Train joined ‘The Boys’ to help them take down Antony Starr’s Homelander in Season 4. Season 5 will likely explore The Seven leader seeking revenge for the betrayal while the vigilantes try to break his control over Vought and the U.S.

The final season will also bring back Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Erin Moriarty, Jack Quaid, Jensen Ackles, Paul Reiser, and Karl Urban. Newcomers will include Mason Dye as Bombtight and Daveed Diggs in an undisclosed role.

Filming is expected to continue into mid-2025. Karl Urban has said the show will not return to screens until 2026.
