MCU Exec: ‘We Want A Scarlet Witch Movie’

Nothing is confirmed yet, but she’s hoping for Wanda’s return.

An executive producer at Marvel Studios says a Scarlet Witch solo movie is highly possible.

Jac Schaeffer, known for her work on ‘WandaVision’ and the ‘Agatha All Along’ series, shared her thoughts in a recent interview with Variety. There is no official news that a movie is being made, but Schaeffer said she is hopeful it could happen, saying, “I am just here hoping for a Scarlet Witch movie! We all want Wanda, so fingers crossed that’s a thing that happens.”

Schaeffer didn’t confirm that anything is in the works right now. She just said she shares the fans’ hopes of seeing Wanda in her own film. Schaeffer may know more than she’s able to share at this time, so it’s possible talks are happening behind the scenes.

Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch had an apparent death in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ but we’ve been eager to hear if she will return. Schaeffer’s comments suggest that ‘Scarlet Witch’ is still an important character, and fans are not alone in wanting to see more of her.

Olsen herself also showed interest in coming back as ‘Scarlet Witch.’ ‘Agatha All Along‘ and the ‘Vision‘ spinoff may hint at Wanda’s return.
