‘Peaky Blinders’ creator Steven Knight recently teased more projects to come after the upcoming film in a recent interview with the UK’s Times Radio (via Deadline).

After confirming that they wrapped up the new production ahead of the holidays, Knight said there isn’t a set release date yet: “It’s a bit too soon for that, but you know, you can sort of work out that it will be about a year.”

When asked if there would be more ‘Peaky Blinders’ stories after the movie, he replied, “Well, it’s interesting you should ask that question because the film is coming out and that won’t be the end.” The show creator kept the details a secret, adding, “It won’t be the end, let me put it that way. I’m not saying none of it.”

Principal photography on the ‘Peaky Blinders’ movie began in late September, and photos from the set quickly spread on the internet. Images gave a peek into Tommy Shelby’s seemingly older state after the BBC show’s finale in April 2022.

In the upcoming film, Cillian Murphy returns to his role as the leader of the Birmingham gang family, joined by Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, and Tim Roth. Stephen Graham, who appeared in the last season of the series, is also part of the film’s cast.

The story reportedly touches on events during World War II England though specific plot details remain under wraps.
